Breaking & Entering Suspect Arrested Twice in one Weekend

Two days after walking out of the Cumberland County Jail for the breaking and entering of a business, 21-year old repeat offender, Nicholas Benjamin Bowers was picked up for breaking into a motor vehicle. 


Nicholas Bowers, who is currently on probation for residential breaking and entering, was arrested on Friday, October 16, 2009 for breaking into Jumper’s Night Life Bar on Reilly Road and stealing an Automatic Teller Machine, (ATM.)  At the time of his arrest, Bowers was given a $3,000 unsecured bond.


This past Sunday, October 18, 2009, at 0430 hours, Bowers was again apprehended after being observed by patrol officers breaking into a box-truck and taking a generator, television set, and 23-pairs of shoes. 


Bowers, an employee of Advantage Security Corporation, received a $15,000 bond on October 20, 2009.  He is currently still in the Cumberland County Detention Center.


Bowers has an extensive history of residential and motor vehicle breaking and enterings.  A photograph is attached to this release.   Bowers, Nicholas
