Early Saturday morning, Fayetteville Homicide Detectives arrested a second suspect in connection with a homicide that occurred on December 30^th, 2009 at 6111 Regis Court.

On Friday, January 8^th, Rod-Dregus King, a subject wanted for questioning in the above mentioned incident made contact with Fayetteville Homicide Detectives.  As a result of additional information received, 18-year old Justen King of 3104 Ron Street has been arrested for the murder of Jason Lee Smith.

At this time, Justen King has been charged as follows:

o       First Degree Murder

o       Attempted First Degree Murder

o       Second Degree Trespassing - $500 bond

o       Felony Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon - $100,000 bond

o       Conspiracy to Commit Robbery

Mr. King is currently being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center.  A photograph is attached to this release.
