Fayetteville Police Seek Assistance in Break-Ins

The Fayetteville Police Department is seeking your assistance with a rash of residential break-ins in the area between MLK Freeway, Roxie Avenue and Sycamore Dairy Drive. Investigators believe that 8-10 residential break-ins in this area are linked and are looking for additional information. Thus far, Fayetteville Police have charged Anthony Maurice Hager, Jr. for Breaking and Entering in this same area and he is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail. If questioned by homeowners and / or neighbors, he would typically come up with an excuse for being on the property, such as doing yard work or selling some type of product.  Possible suspect vehicles include a tan Mazda Protege and / or a Teal colored Toyota. If you have any information on Hager or his associates, please call Detective Glen House at 910-433-2330.
