Operation Ceasefire Continues Free Food, Fun and Movies


               Operation Ceasefire continues its Outdoor Movie Night on Friday, June 11th at Festival Park at 7:30pm. The event is free and open to the public. Free popcorn, drinks, & prizes will be provided as well.

             The movie will be the popular feature film “The Blind Side” starring Sandra Bullock. “The Blind Side” is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family.  

            Guests should bring chairs or blankets. The Fayetteville Swampdogs have donated some family four packs to be given away prior to the movie, they include 4 baseball game tickets, 4 hotdogs, 4 drinks, and 4 popcorns. Also available will be gift cards from Sammio’s and Great Harvest Bread Company. The event is being sponsored by Q98, the Fayetteville Swampdogs, Sammio’s, Great Harvest Bread Co., RUSH campus ministries, Partnership for Children of Cumberland Co., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Federal Financial Group LLC
