UPDATE: Bank Robbery Suspect

On July 15, 2009, at approximately 1:45pm, a bank robbery occurred at Southern Bank, 101 W. Queen Street, Edenton NC. The suspect entered the bank armed with a handgun and fled in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect was possibly driving a 1980’s model Ford Bronco II with out of State Tags.  This is believed to be the same suspect who robbed the Lumbee Guaranty Bank located at 6313 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC on July 6, 2009, as well as banks in Henderson County (NC), Mount Pleasant (SC), and Forest Acres (SC).  The suspect is described as a white male, 5’07” – 6’02”, medium to stocky build, brown hair, short / shaved hair style, goatee or other facial hair.  The suspect has extensive tattoos in the “sleeve” style on both forearms.  This suspect should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.  The most recent photographs, from the Edenton robbery, are attached below.
