Police have seen an upward trend in the number of tips they have received. However, while police appreciate the valuable tips and assistance they have received, they want to remind citizens to never approach suspects. They would prefer citizens concentrate on being good witnesses, noting important information such as suspect description, suspect vehicle description / vehicle registration, direction of travel, etc. and call 911 as soon as possible.
