Death Investigation- Briarcreek Place

On Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2009, Fayetteville Police were called to a home at 2182 Briarcreek Place in reference to a well being check.


After failed attempts to make contact with the occupant of the residence, the Fayetteville Fire Department made forced entry into the residence and located a deceased female.


The female has been identified as 60-year old Elizabeth Johnson of the same address. 


At this time, Ms. Johnson’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office where the actual cause of death will be determined.  This case is NOT being investigated as a homicide.
